2nd European Transition Symposium: 12-13 September 2019, Lausanne, Switzerland
A year ago, fifty pioneers met in Lausanne for the first European transition symposium. It was, in our view, a great success: many abstracts reporting work done all over Europe were presented; two amazing plenary sessions opened up new considerations regarding transition; and a delightful networking supper in a local theatre run by youths enabled great networking amongst professionals across Europe and beyond working for the same cause.
We are now delighted to announce the second edition of the European Transition Symposium that will be held in Lausanne. The aim of this symposium is to gather experts in transition in order to share experiences and think together on where to go from now.
This symposium is ideal for:
- Professionals working with children and/or adolescents with chronic illness (educators, nurses, psychologists, physicians, researchers, social workers, teachers, etc.);
- Professionals wishing to develop or implement a transition program in their clinic, or to share their experience in transition;
- Students undertaking a masters or PhD on the subject of chronic conditions/transition.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Lausanne in September!
