Lancement du 1er comité consultatif de jeunes!

Le groupe de recherche sur la santé des adolescents et la Division interdisciplinaire de santé des adolescents (DFME, CHUV) lancent le premier Comité consultatif de jeunes dans le domaine de la santé. Son but est d’offrir une voix aux adolescent-e-s et jeunes adultes pour améliorer tout ce qui concerne de près ou de loin les soins dont ils bénéficient dans le domaine de la santé.

Une séance d’information et de lancement est prévue le 21 mai 2019 de 17h00 à 18h30 à la DISA, à l’Hôpital Nestlé, niveau 4, Avenue de la Sallaz 2, 1011 Lausanne.

Symposium Journée Adolescence 2019

Voici le programme de la journée Adolescence du 6 juin 2019 que nous organisons conjointement avec l’Institut des Sciences Sociales & LIVES, ainsi que l’Institut de Psychologie de l’UNIL. Cette année, cette journée a pour thématique Générations numériques: défis et opportunités. La conférence d’ouverture sera donnée par Madame la Conseillère d’Etat Cesla Amarelle.

2nd European Transition Symposium: 12-13 September 2019 – CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

We are delighted to announce the second edition of the European Transition Symposium that will be held in Lausanne. The aim of this symposium is to gather experts in transition in order to share experiences and think together on where to go from now. We are looking forward to welcoming you in Switzerland in September!

This symposium is ideal for: Professionals working with children and/or adolescents with chronic illness (educators, nurses, psychologists, physicians, researchers, social workers, teachers, etc.); wishing to develop or implement a transition program in their clinic, or to share their experience in transition; Students undertaking a masters or PhD on the subject of chronic conditions/transition.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee as part of the selection process. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be made via e-mail by June 30th 2019. Accepted abstracts will be assigned to Oral or Poster walk presentations according to the decision of the Scientific Committee, which is final. An award will be given for the best oral presentation and one for the best poster presentation.

2019 Edie Moore Student Travel Scholarship Award for Yara Barrense-Dias!

At the SAHM 2019 annual conference (March 6-9, Washington), Yara Barrense-Dias, research manager and doctoral student at the Research Group on Adolescent Health, will receive the 2019 Edie Moore Student Travel Scholarship Award for her research on adolescent health. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and maintain the interest of young professionals in adolescent health.

Best Poster Prize for our Research Group!

Yara Barrense-Dias, research manager and PhD candidate at the Research Group on Adolescent Health, won the Best Poster-Short Oral Presentation Prize at the International Multidisciplinariy Symposium on Gambling held in Fribourg (Switzerland). Her poster was entitled: Is at-risk gambling related to the financial situation ?. Data were taken from the GenerationFRee study, an ongoing longitudinal study on gambling among students and apprentices in the canton of Fribourg.
